| Includes the area of Via Cavour and Piazza San Marco a square in a truly typical style: surrounded by elegant buildings is dominated by the facade of the church of San Marco, from which it takes its name. To the west, the area of San Lorenzo, a district with an ancient heart, deeped in the most authentic popular roots of Florence. The Piazza San Lorenzo is dominated by the basilica, while is silhouetting in the background the great dome of the Cappella dei Principi. This square is famous for its lively market wich is held there every day (except Monday).
